The BSA operates 4 National High Adventure Bases. These offer opportunities such as backpacking, sailing, and canoeing. A high adventure trip takes a while to plan, so start planning yours now.

Philmont Scout Ranch
Scouting’s backpacking paradise! Located in northern New Mexico, scouts embark on 50-90 mile backpack trips with activities at each campsite.

Northern Tier
