Camping Sites
Front-country camping
Camping
with access to vehicles. Front-country camping is a great way to spend time in the outdoors without limitations on what you
can take due to weight. Cook a feast, play games, or go on a hike. There are many local front-country camps. These camps all
have automobile access.
This section is
divided into 4 parts: Monterey County, San Benito County, and Santa Cruz County, and Outside Council Area.
Back-country Camping
Takes place away from roads and requires Scouts to carry all their gear into camp. Backcountry camping is
the perfect way to put your skills to the test. Backcountry camping also exposes you to places that the average person may
never see. ALL BACKCOUNTRY WATER MUST BE PURIFIED.
